My dream position is one where I can be very creative and content-oriented. A good combination between independent tasks and teamwork is a must. I don't mind working from home, but I love being able to connect and chat with the people I am working with.

I would love to eventually take this show on the road and look at international opportunities.

Skills

My schooling as a cross media journalist has taught me a lot in terms of creating content. By adding on the Digital Media Manager short track, I am sharpening up my skills when it comes to distributing and promoting that content.

Schooling

Each school I have been in has shaped me into the person I am today. I have been very invloved in all of them throughout my time there. Find out a bit more about them by clicking through below.

De Boomhut

Freinet Grade School, Alsemberg

My brother, sister and I all went to a Freinet kindergarden and grade school. I strongly believe that my experience at this school and the ways it differs from "regular" grade schools has hugely influenced who I am as a person.

Koninklijk Atheneum Halle

High School, Halle

At my high school, I was always very involved in student life. I joined student council and even became president in my senior year. It was very important to me that everyone felt good and supported in the school, and I took pride in the work I did to achieve that. It also taught me several very important skills, like how to organise a small scale event and handle finances.

Arteveldehogeschool Gent

College, Ghent

I started college during the COVID-19 pandemic, so i thought it would be very lonely. Instead, I managed to connect with my peers and professors like I never had before. These people all taught me so much, and I am sure I wouldn't be the person I am today if not for the experiences and learning moments I had at this school. It shaped me into a true cross media journalist.

Fanshawe College

College, London, Ontario

In the fall semester of my third year at Artevelde, I did an Erasmus Plus study abroad program to Canada. This taught me the biggest lesson yet in independence and resilience. After a not so smooth start, I had the absolute time of my life. Through the program I was in at Fanshawe, I was also able to get a taste of broadcast journalism, a subject I hadn't focused on at all at home.

Thomas More

College, Mechelen

This new adventure at Thomas More I am currently experiencing is teaching me how to adapt quickly and smoothly, and shifting my focus to the job market instead of purely school. I look forward to seeing which opportunities come my way!
